Giuseppe Lombardi is a Full-Stack Director, VFX Supervisor, and Compositing Trainer with over 15 years of experience in visual storytelling.
Since 2009, he has worked across Europe and beyond, collaborating withsome of the world’s most prestigious Oscar-winning studios—Double Negative, Framestore, Cinesite, Ghost VFX, and Rise FX. His work appears in major feature films including Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Captain America: Civil War, Pacific Rim, and Independence Day: Resurgence and many more.
In 2018, Giuseppe founded Wow Tapes, a creative studio dedicated to producing high-quality commercials and branded content with a cinematic edge. The company has worked with clients such as Hilton, Meta, Enel, Emergency, FS, and Bvlgari, and its productions have been recognized at international festivals including theCannes Corporate Media & TV Awards, International Tourism Film Festival Africa, Vimeo Staff Picks, and others.
At the core of Wow Tapes is a philosophy of bold and cinematic storytelling, where each frame is crafted with a director’s eye—blending emotion, rhythm, and visual elegance to elevate brand narratives.
In addition to directing, Giuseppe also worked as a VFX Supervisor on several feature films produced with Wow Tapes, including Napoli – New York by Academy Award-winner Gabriele Salvatores, and Comandante by Edoardo De Angelis.
As an educator and trainer, Giuseppe brings deep technical knowledge and hands-on industry insight. He is one of the few professionals in Italy officially certified as a Nuke Trainer by The Foundry®
Over the years, he has taught digital compositing and post-production at leading institutions including Centro Sperimentale diCinematografia, UNESCO EDU, IED Rome, VTV Vietnam, and AVFX. His mission is to inspire and equip new generations of artists with the tools, mindset, and creative vision to thrive in the
ever-evolving world of VFX.
