WE WERE BORN TO MAKE FILMS
<Born To Make Travel Films (B2MTF) is a global initiative created to support, connect, and empower the new generation of travel filmmakers and visual storytellers.
B2MTF was born from the spirit of international tourism film festivals. After more than 10 years organizing the Terres Travel Festival in Spain, and as an active member of CIFFT – the International Committee of Tourism Film Festivals, we recognized the need to go beyond the festival circuit and create a permanent space dedicated to filmmakers working in travel, documentary, and destination storytelling.
B2MTF is more than a networking platform—it’s a global creative hub for travel filmmakers. Our digital platform allows members to share projects, insights, and behind-the-scenes experiences, fostering collaboration and inspiration.
Members gain access to exclusive opportunities, from participating in international festivals and events within the CIFFT (International Committee of Tourism Film Festivals) circuit to mentorship-driven workshops around the world. These experiences are designed to support the creation of travel films that prioritize sustainability, authenticity, and meaningful storytelling.

Travel films are on the rise. Today, filmmakers and content creators have become influencers and thought leaders, capable of shaping how destinations are perceived and inspiring new ways to explore and share the world.
With this global perspective, B2MTF was created to offer spaces to learn, connect, and grow, responding to the evolving needs of this expanding creative community. Our goal is to foster meaningful connections, encourage professional development, and promote the creation of responsible and sustainable narratives that respect the environment, local cultures, and conscious tourism practices.
From our position within the international festival ecosystem, we aim to support travel filmmakers beyond screenings and awards. B2MTF develops platforms, workshops, and services designed to:
